We recommend the NKJV Bible. It may be most helpful to start with a Study Bible (here's the one we recommend), although don't let that prevent you from getting started. Get a physical Bible first and foremost.
Dive into God's Word Daily
Start with the Book of John, then read Matthew, Mark, Luke, then the rest of the New Testament, then the Old Testament.
Find a Church Focused on Teaching from the Bible
Find a church that teaches from the Bible, and focuses on God and God's Word. Not how to be a good person or do good works... but you want to get to know God and make Him known.
