This concept was developed to bring the in-person small groups model and studies of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills to the Zoom setting, specifically for those who are not local to the home groups taking place in Chino Hills and the surrounding area.

The Christian faith is being strongly challenged from nearly every segment of society, from the college classroom to the corporate boardroom. In fact, college professors are five times more likely to be atheists than the general public, and more than half of professors have unfavorable feelings toward Evangelical Christians. Add to this, a barrage of “sensitivity training,” politically correct indoctrination and peer pressure both at school and in the workplace, and we have a perfect storm, toxic to faith.  Unfortunately, most students and adults go into that hostile environment unarmed and unprepared.  That’s why the Fearless Faith teaching is essential!

FEARLESS FAITH is a set for students and adults to help you become fearless about your Christian beliefs, whether it is at the water cooler at work, over dinner with your family, or in a classroom that’s hostile to Christianity. You will learn practical and invaluable helps including:

Time: Sundays at 5:00pm - 7:00pm Pacific / 7-9pm Central / 8-10pm Eastern

What are Zoom small groups?

These groups consist of small, intimate Zoom breakout rooms which promise to be a great source of fellowship and personal growth. It is an opportunity to join and get to know a growing community of those of like faith from around the world.

Why join a small group?

It is through being a part of a small group of believers that we have a great opportunity to grow in our personal walk with our Lord and Savior, while cultivating deep and lasting friendships with other believers. It is also essential for our Christian walk that we come together as a family of believers, for fellowship, encouragement, support, and spiritual growth. Just as we all have many body parts that work together to make up a complete person, so also, though we are many individuals, together we make up one body in Christ (Romans 12:4-5).

What can I expect in a Zoom small group?

The Zoom small groups are a place where people have the opportunity to pursue authentic community and spiritual growth. When you join a group, you will spend time socializing, learning, and praying together.

What are the dates and times for the Zoom small group meetings?

Small groups will run for 9 weeks, every Sunday for 2 hours at 5pm Pacific / 7pm Central / 8pm Eastern from March 17th through May 19th, 

excluding March 31st.

How will the small group sessions work?

We will be watching a short video from the study, followed by a group discussion. You'll be in a small group led by a facilitator.

What if I can't make one of the weekly sessions?

We will send a short weekly recap of the study each week.

How is GetEquipped.org connected with Calvary Chapel Chino Hills?

CCCH’s role is advisory – to come alongside and help GetEquipped.org access teaching and ministry resources that will help individuals not local to Chino Hills, CA grow in community and the grace and knowledge of God and His Word through a Zoom setting. Neither GetEquippped.org nor Zoom small group facilitators are employed by CCCH.
